Wayne W. Cavanaugh, 73, died Wednesday, May 13 at his Oakdale home.
Mr. Cavanaugh was a native of Iowa. He lived in Oakdale nine years.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a press mechanic at Del Monte Foods for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Cavanaugh of Oakdale; children, Michael Cavanaugh of Fremont, Loretta Kvam and Darlene Burleson, both of Modesto; sisters, Barbara Ruschin of Modesto, Arlene Hurt of Modesto, Diane Cavanaugh of Wyoming, Joanne Hern of Manteca, and Debbie Reyes of Salinas; brother, Don Cavanaugh of San Leandro; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 29 at Sierra Foothills Community Church. No visitation.
