The 40th Annual Stanislaus County Occupational Olympics and Career Exposition was held on March 19, 2026, at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock. Over 1,000 students from Stanislaus County high schools participated in 16 competitive events. An additional 40 business and industry representatives exhibited and spoke to students during the Career Expo.
Turlock High School was the Large School overall award winner; Hughson was the Small School overall award winner.
Oakdale and Riverbank high school students were among those taking part.
Following are the local students who placed in the top three of their events.
Animal Husbandry: Oakdale swept the top three spots with Violet Haynes, First Place; Jaalah Richison, Second and Peyton O’Neal, Third.
Medical Occupations: Grace Garavaglia, Oakdale, Third Place.
Pitsco Drag Racing (Light Weight Class): Grant Gardner, Oakdale, Second Place.
Pitsco Drag Racing (Heavy Weight Class): Fred Herschbach, Oakdale, First Place and Landon Murphy, Oakdale, Third.
Salad Preparation & Display: Nataly Rivera, Riverbank, Second Place.
