Patrol Deputies Report Arrests In Variety Of Cases

During the afternoon hours on Saturday, Sept. 11, Riverbank Police Services deputies were dispatched to a non-injury traffic collision in the 6000 block of Oakdale Road. When deputies arrived, they contacted the driver of one of the vehicles, a 31-year-old man, a D.U.I. investigation was conducted and the man was issued a citation for driving under the influence.

On Friday in the nighttime hours, deputies were dispatched to an undisclosed location for the report of a domestic violence incident. The victim reported she had been assaulted and her cell phone taken during the incident. The suspect, a 20-year-old man, was later arrested in Modesto and booked at the Public Safety Center for robbery and domestic violence.

During the morning hours on Thursday, Sept. 9, deputies were dispatched to check the area for a possible subject driving under the influence. Deputies located the vehicle driven by a 25-year-old man. Deputies conducted their D.U.I investigation and the man was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Public Safety Center.

Also in the morning on Thursday, deputies recovered a stolen vehicle from the area of Fifth Street and Stanislaus Street in Riverbank.

Deputies were dispatched to the report of a subject assaulted in the 3000 block of High Street in the early morning hours on Wednesday, Sept. 8. The victim had very limited suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.

During the late night hours on Wednesday, deputies made a traffic stop for vehicle code violations. They contacted the driver, a 22-year-old man, who had a warrant for his arrest. He was booked at the Public Safety Center.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 7, detectives followed up on a previous investigation and arrested Luis Ayala, 26, in the 3400 block of Topeka Street for a previous want of assault with a weapon.

During the late evening on Tuesday, deputies stopped a dirt bike for vehicle code violations near Eighth and Santa Fe Streets. After deputies learned the motorcycle was stolen, Delbert Montgomery, 24, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of methamphetamine.
