Police Report Arrests For Crimes Committed

This past week in the City of Action, Riverbank Police Services made a few arrests due to outstanding warrants, public intoxication and more.

During the afternoon on Sunday, Jan. 24, deputies responded to a violation of a restraining order complaint in the 2700 block of Topeka Street. A 28-year-old was subsequently arrested for violating the restraining order.

Around noon on Saturday, Jan. 23, deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Morrill Road on a domestic incident. After their investigation deputies arrested a 32-year-old in connection with the case.

Also on Saturday in the afternoon, deputies observed a man identified as Ernest Baker, 29, in the 3700 block of Nevada Avenue. Baker was wanted for domestic battery, robbery, and vehicle theft. Deputies placed Baker under arrest without incident.

Deputies stopped a man in the 3600 block of Santa Fe Street during the afternoon on Friday, Jan. 22. The subject was determined to have an active warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody without incident.

During the evening on Friday, deputies and detectives conducted an Alcohol Beverage Control compliance operation throughout the city. Four citations were issued for sale of alcohol to a minor.

On Thursday, Jan. 21 in the afternoon, deputies stopped a subject for vehicle code violations as he rode his bike in the 6400 block of Eighth Street. The man was arrested for the outstanding warrants.

Also on Thursday afternoon, deputies arrested a 55-year-old man near Veterans Park as he had outstanding warrants.

During the morning hours on Wednesday, Jan. 20, deputies contacted a subject standing in the middle of the roadway near Patterson Road and First Street. The 39-year-old displayed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication and was arrested for public intoxication and for outstanding warrants.

Deputies observed a 31-year-old man walking near Oakdale and Crawford roads during the morning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. Deputies had prior knowledge that the subject had outstanding warrants for his arrest. After the warrants were confirmed, he was stopped and arrested.

Around noon on Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to a subject causing a disturbance near Claribel Road and Squire Wells Way. They contacted a 55-year-old man, who displayed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication and deputies determined he was unable to care for his own safety. He was arrested for public intoxication.
