

United States Marine Corps were posted up at the memorial services for Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee at Bayside Church Adventure Campus in Roseville this past Saturday that was broadly attended. The public memorial service was held for Sgt. Nicole Gee, Combat Logistics Battalion 24, in Roseville on Sept. 18. American Veterans First CEO and Marine Veteran Duke Cooper attended the services to pay his respects. Gee was killed in Afghanistan at the Karzai International airport along with 12 other U.S. military service members while trying to evacuate Americans and Afghan refugees. Cooper remarked that the somber service was a grave reminder that the cost of freedom is definitely not free.
