

Members and directors of the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce gathered this past week for a mixer at a local office.
On Thursday, Aug. 29, the mixer was hosted at Monica Perez’s Famers Insurance Agency office on Patterson Road, next to McDonald’s. Mixers typically offer attendees light refreshments and the chance to network with other business owners and chamber members throughout the area.
Attendees were joined by members of the Riverbank City Council, including Mayor Richard O’Brien, Vice Mayor Darlene Barber-Martinez, Cal Campbell and Luis Uribe.
The Chamber of Commerce looks to establish business relationships, provide advocacy and service, along with marketing opportunities and a wealth of resources to its members.
The Chamber is an active organization, comprised of small and large businesses, professionals and individuals who join together to advance the interest of the Riverbank business community.
The Chamber is also described as a ‘legislative representative, and information bureau and a business resource tool.’
The Riverbank Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, mutual benefit corporation comprised of its members. It invests time, money and advanced technology in support of programs relevant to members’ needs for growth and programs that will benefit the local economy.
