Drama RHS

Students in the Riverbank High School’s Drama Department are preparing their fall production for early November.

The performers will present the Peter Pan sequel “Lost Girl,” a moving play about first love, lasting loss, and the complicated journey of growing up.

It is described as “long after returning from Neverland, Wendy decides that she must find Peter in order to reclaim her kiss and move on with her life. Along the way, she meets other girls who went to Neverland and learns she is not alone.”

This 90-minute play is “G-rated” and is most suitable for ages 11 and up. It features performances, costumes, scenery, props, and lighting design created by Riverbank High School drama students. There will be a special talk-back with the actors, student designers, and director following Saturday afternoon’s show.

Tickets cost $3 for students, $10 for adults. They can be purchased online, at https://gofan.co/event/1180128?schoolId=CA22600

Director and Drama Teacher John Thiel is overseeing the production.

The schedule for performances starts on Friday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. The talk-back session will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, with an evening show at 7 p.m. Saturday and a final matinee on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m.
