Tickets are available now for a Texas Roadhouse drive-thru dinner fundraiser, with proceeds to benefit police-community partnership programs. The tickets are $20 each and the meal includes pulled pork and half a barbecued chicken breast with cole slaw and fresh baked bread with honey cinnamon butter.

Riverbank Police officials said the tickets are available at the Riverbank Substation, 6727 Third St., Riverbank, and need to be purchased by Friday, Oct. 10.

The dinner pick up will be on Wednesday, Oct. 22 between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

All meals must be picked up at 3037 Sisk Road, Modesto, at the Texas Roadhouse.

Officials said proceeds from the fundraiser will help support events like the annual Shop with a Cop, which continues to bring holiday joy to local children in need.

The holiday shopping program pairs kids from the community with an officer to spend some time choosing essentials such as shoes, clothing, even a winter coat, along with having an opportunity to enjoy a pizza party after the shopping spree.
