Deputies with the Riverbank Police had several calls for service this past week including battery, warrant arrests and theft.

On Sunday, Jan. 23, just after midnight, deputies responded to the report of a stab victim at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale. The victim was drinking at a party on Sierra Street in Riverbank when he got into a physical altercation with another guest. The suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach several times, but none of the wounds were classified as life-threatening. The suspect was still outstanding as of press time.

At approximately 9:51 p.m. on Sunday, deputies made a bicycle stop for traffic violations. During the stop, deputies determined Alex Osborne, 24, had outstanding active felony warrants for his arrest. Osborne was arrested and transported to the county jail.

On Saturday, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m., deputies received a report of the brandishing of a firearm at the intersection of Third Street and Sierra Street. The victim did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

At 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a vehicle collision at the Mister Car Wash.

On Friday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a disturbance at the 4000 block of Patterson Road.

Deputies responded to the report of a physical fight at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and South Rose Brook Drive at 1 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Jan. 20 at 10 p.m., deputies observed a man walking behind Target, sweating, carrying bolt cutters and a new power tool, still in the box. The 33-year-old man was arrested for a theft from Home Depot.

On Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 9 a.m., deputies responded to the 3000 block of Patterson Road. A theft by false pretenses report was taken.

At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Morrill Road. A domestic incident report was taken.

Deputies responded to the report of battery in the 2000 block of Topeka Street on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

On Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 1:45 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a missing person at the 2000 block of Colony Manor Drive. An elderly female walked away from the residence. At 11 a.m., after a large search and rescue mission, she was located hiding in a neighbor’s shed.

At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 6000 block of Matthew Lane. A 22-year-old woman was subsequently arrested for violation of a court order.

Deputies responded to the report of a commercial burglary at the SecurCare storage facility in the 2300 block of Patterson Road on Tuesday at 9 a.m. The victim’s storage unit was broken into overnight, and property was taken.

On Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a broken window in the 6000 block of Preakness Drive. The victim’s car window was broken overnight.

At 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies returned to another report of a commercial burglary at the SecurCare storage facility on Patterson Road. Another victim’s unit was found to have been broken into overnight.

At 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with injuries at the intersection of Claus Road and Claribel Road.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Stanislaus Street and Second Street on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. A 33-year-old man was found to have outstanding warrants and methamphetamine. He was arrested.
