Warrant arrests and traffic incidents were among the calls for service keeping Riverbank Police Services deputies busy during the past week.

On Monday Jan. 3 at 1:24 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for vehicle code violations near Sierra and Eighth Streets. A 43-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies responded to the report of a subject down near the intersection of Claribel Road and Terminal Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 1 at 6:55 p.m. Deputies found a 36-year-old woman who was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She was arrested and transported to county jail.

At 4 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, deputies responded to the report of a commercial burglary alarm at the Crossroads Shopping Center. The alarm was found to have been triggered erroneously by the security guard. An information report was taken.

On Friday at 10:45 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with minor injuries at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and North Rose Brook Drive.

Deputies responded to the report of a grand theft in the 2000 block of Country Manor Drive on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 8:20 a.m. The victim’s catalytic converter was stolen from her vehicle overnight.

At 10 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 3000 block of Sierra Street. After investigation, no crimes were found to have occurred, an information report was taken.

On Dec. 30 at 5:40 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a residential burglary in the 6000 block of Third Street. The reporting party advised the homeowner is in a care facility. The reporting party was at the residence to take care of animals and found the residence open with pill bottles missing.

At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, deputies responded to the report of a verbal fight between employees at a business. After review of the video, no crime occurred, but the incident was documented.

Deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 2000 block of Country Manor Drive on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The victim reported around 10 a.m., a white male adult driving a white Hyundai, stole a package from the front porch.

At 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a lost firearm. The 59-year-old reporting party, lost the firearm 21 years ago, but never reported it. A report was taken.

On Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 12:51 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle near Terminal Avenue and Claus Road for vehicle code violations. The driver, identified as Jaime Clayton, 28, was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

On Monday, Dec. 27 at 4 a.m., deputies responded to the report of three subjects trying to break into a mailbox in the 5000 block of Celestino Court. The suspects fled prior to the deputy’s arrival. A report for misdemeanor vandalism was taken.

At 11 a.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the report of a residential burglary in the 6000 block of Third Street. The reporting party advised the homeowner is in a care facility. The reporting party came to take care of animals and found the residence open and two firearms had been stolen.

On Monday at 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 3000 block of Santa Fe Street. The victim reported her trash can had been stolen.

At 3:50 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with minor injuries at the intersection of Patterson Road and Jackson Avenue.
