The first week of November was busy for Riverbank deputies as they were dispatched to a number of calls for service including burglary, traffic collisions, and a family fight.

On Sunday, Nov. 6 at 4 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 3200 block of Stanislaus Street on the report of male attempting to break into a residence. Deputies located a 21-year-old man, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He had an injury to his hand after he broke the glass on the front door of the residence. He was arrested for attempted burglary and booked into jail.

During the evening on Sunday at 6:45 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Rose Brook Court on a family fight with a 32-year-old subject arrested.

On Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a subject shot near the intersection of Topeka Street and Jackson Avenue. A subject was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing.

At 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision at the intersection of First Street and Sierra Street.

During the afternoon on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a family fight in the 2400 block of Rio Gabriel Street.

At 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a family fight in the 6600 block of Cervi Road.

On Friday, Nov. 4 at 11:04 a.m., deputies were dispatched to 5900 block of Newbrook Drive on a theft of a catalytic converter. No suspect information at this time.

During the evening on Friday at 6:50 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, minor injuries, in the 3500 block of Atchison Street.

At 7:45 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a solo vehicle traffic collision in front of the Home Depot.

On Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7:39 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Claribel Road and Roselle Avenue on a non-injury single vehicle accident.

At 7:59 a.m. on Thursday, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Ward Avenue on a non-injury two vehicle accident.

Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Claus Road and Claribel Road on a non-injury hit and run accident on Thursday at 8:38 a.m. There is no suspect information.

During the afternoon on Thursday at 3:14 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a dispute with one arrest reported.

At 7:18 p.m. on Thursday, deputies were dispatched to the 3500 block of Stanislaus Street on a property damage vehicle hit and run. The investigation is still ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched to Fit Republic in the 2200 block of Patterson Road on a vehicle burglary on Thursday at 8:42 p.m. The victim stated their wallet was stolen and one of their credit cards was used at the Target on McHenry Avenue. No suspect information at this time.

On Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 10:14 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Riverbank School District on a theft of license plates and catalytic converter.

During the evening on Tuesday, Riverbank Police Services hosted the annual Shop with a Cop Fundraiser dinner at Cool Hand Luke’s. Authorities noted that the event was well attended, and a great meal was enjoyed by all. The department extended its thanks to everyone who supported this worthwhile event.
