Deputies with the Riverbank Police Services had a number of calls for service this past week including possession of methamphetamine, public intoxication and disturbances, among others.

On Monday, Feb. 14 at 12:11 a.m., deputies stopped a person on a bicycle near Eighth Street and Sierra Street for vehicle code violations. The 56-year-old man was cited after he was found to have outstanding warrants.

At 10:49 p.m. on Monday, deputies conducted a bicycle stop near Sixth Street and Santa Fe Street for vehicle code violations. A 51-year-old man was subsequently arrested after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

On Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2:42 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a dispute in the area of Terminal Avenue and Arizona Avenue. A 37-year-old man was arrested in the case.

At 7 a.m. on Sunday, deputies were dispatched to the area of Third Street and Patterson Road to the report of a subject passed out on the ground. A 28-year-old was arrested for public intoxication.

Deputies were dispatched to the report of a person stumbling in and out of the roadway near Arrowwood Court on Sunday at 4:39 p.m. A 27-year-old was arrested after he was determined to be intoxicated in public and unable to care for his own safety.

On Saturday, Feb. 12 at 6:31 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Don Court on the report of a suspicious person. Deputies located Jason Rhoadhouse, 49, in the area. Rhoadhouse was arrested after he was found to be in possession of oxycodone and firearms, which he is prohibited from having as a convicted felon.

At 9:46 p.m. on Saturday, deputies were dispatched to the report of a subject jumping fences in the area of Gallery Drive and Cornerstone Drive. Deputies located a teen and found him to be extremely intoxicated. The juvenile was cited and released to parents.

On Friday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m., deputies investigated a minor injury collision near Oakdale and Morrill roads.

On Thursday, Feb. 10 at 10:48 p.m., deputies investigated a dispute in the 5900 block of Newbrook Drive, with a 30-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday, deputies investigated a brandishing of a firearm in the area of Arizona and Terminal avenues.

On Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 8:53 a.m., deputies investigated a property damage only hit and run near Santa Fe and Third streets.

At 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies investigated a dispute in the 6500 block of Jackson Avenue.

On Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 8 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Home Depot for a shoplifting. Deputies located the responsible, a 33-year-old man, leaving the Crossroads Shopping Center. He was stopped and arrested for shoplifting.

On Monday, Feb. 7 at 5:40 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Dollar Tree on Patterson Road on a report of a subject strangling a cat. Upon arrival, they contacted a 39-year-old man who matched the description and was openly carrying a knife. He was ordered to drop it and detained. A second dagger was found on his person along with shaved automobile keys and porcelain chips, both used to gain access and steal vehicles. The suspect was arrested for possession of a dagger and burglary tools without incident. No injured cats were located in the area, injured or otherwise.

At 2:40 p.m. on Monday, deputies were dispatched to 6200 block of Jackson Avenue on a hit and run incident involving a parked unoccupied vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to Patterson Road and Estelle Avenue on a non-injury accident involving two vehicles on Monday at 5:40 p.m.

At 10:45 p.m. Monday, deputies stopped a subject riding his bicycle for a traffic violation. During the contact the man was found to have two active outstanding warrants, was in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, and a methamphetamine pipe. He was cited and released for the violations.
