Over the past week, deputies with the Riverbank Police Services made several arrests including in cases of driving under the influence, arson, and outstanding warrants.
On Sunday, April 3 at 2:32 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 3700 block of Sierra Street for the report of a traffic accident. While conducting their investigation the driver was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of an unregistered firearm.
At 12:49 p.m. on Sunday deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of High Street for the report of a theft.
Late Sunday night, deputies conducted a traffic stop for traffic violations near Patterson Road and Jackson Avenue. During their investigation the driver was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to the Public Safety Center.
On Saturday, April 2 at 1:48 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of Patterson Road and First Street for the report of a brandishing of a firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday at 8 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the report of a theft to a business in the 2400 block of Claribel Road. The investigation is ongoing.
At 9:07 p.m. on Saturday deputies were dispatched to a solo vehicle accident in the 2700 block of Patterson Road.
Deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Winners Circle for a traffic accident on Saturday at 11:09 p.m. While conducting their investigation the 26-year-old driver was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to the Public Safety Center.
On Saturday at 11:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of Claus Road and Santa Fe Street to the report of a hit and run accident.
On Friday, April 1 at 7:40 a.m., deputies responded to a petty theft at O’Brien’s Market.
Deputies responded to the report of criminal threats at Riverbank High School on Friday at 11:45 a.m. A student wrote a threat of violence on the bathroom wall. Deputies and teachers locked down the school and searched for weapons. No students or employees were injured. The investigation is ongoing.
At 6 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a theft suspect in custody at the Target. A 43-year-old was cited for theft.
Also at 6 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of an accident with injuries at the intersection of Terminal Avenue and Van Dusen Avenue.
On Friday at 6:20 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a violation of a child custody order in the 3400 block of Sierra Street.
On Thursday, March 31 at 12:55 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Squire Wells Way and Heartland Drive.
Deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 5700 block of Holbrook Drive on Thursday at 2:28 p.m. Deputies contacted Stephanie Lujano, 29, who had an outstanding felony warrant. Lujano was arrested and transported to jail.
At 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, in the 1800 block of Patterson Road.
At 11 p.m. on Thursday, deputies were on patrol when they observed Michael Powers, 26, light a fence on fire. Powers is on parole for arson. He was arrested and booked in jail.
Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call at the intersection of Parsley Lane and Jackson Avenue on Thursday at 10 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered and towed.
On Wednesday, March 30 at 10:10 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a grand theft at the Home Depot.
On Tuesday, March 29 at 11:45 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a theft by false pretenses in the 2600 block of Novi Drive.
At 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Claus Road and Patterson Road.
On Monday, March 28 at 8:45 a.m., deputies responded to a family disturbance in the 3900 block of Patterson Road.
At 9:20 a.m. on Monday, a female victim came to the substation to report an identity theft.
