SUNDAY, APRIL 5

2:31 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of an assault in the 3700 block of Atchison.

3:18 p.m. – Hit and run vehicle collision investigation regarding a crash that occurred the day prior in the 4100 block of Claribel.

5:35 p.m. – Fight investigated by deputies in the 5800 block of Eighth Street. Five adult males assaulted one adult male in the bathroom. The investigation is ongoing.

10:02 p.m. – Report of a fight, deputies investigated in the 3500 block of Virginia.

SATURDAY, APRIL 4

7:23 a.m. – Family disturbance in the 6200 block of Terminal Avenue.

1:56 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of a suspicious subject in the 2400 block of Claribel Road. An adult male was found to be in possession of narcotics. He was cited and released after he was refused at the jail due to medical concerns.

8:09 p.m. – Battery complaint near Topeka and Third streets.

10:45 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family disturbance in the 5700 block of Sierra Vista Drive. An adult male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of narcotics, and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

FRIDAY, APRIL 3

12:08 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the 6200 block of Claus Road. An adult male was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested and transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

12:48 p.m. – Deputies investigated a fight at Riverbank High School. All parties were separated and school staff will be handling any discipline internally. The incident was documented.

1:54 p.m. – Theft reported at Home Depot. Deputies investigated and an adult male was arrested for felony theft with prior convictions. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

7:15 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family disturbance in the 3600 block of Castlepark Drive. An adult male was arrested for a restraining order violation and attempted arson. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

11:44 p.m. – Investigation by deputies regarding a family disturbance in the 5400 block of Regatta Lane. An adult male was arrested for a restraining order violation and dissuading a victim. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

THURSDAY, APRIL 2

10:21 a.m. – Deputies investigated a hit and run vehicle collision in the 2600 block of Stanislaus.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1

9:09 a.m. – Vehicle collision investigation by deputies in the 2400 block of Claribel.

1:07 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight at Jackson and Country Manor.

4:08 p.m. – Vehicle collision investigation at Patterson and Railroad.

4:31 p.m. – Report of a physical fight in the 5800 block of Eighth Street.

8:14 p.m. – Deputies investigated a suspicious person charging at vehicles in the Home Goods parking lot. One adult male was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

Tuesday, March 31, Traffic deputies and the Sheriff Media team created a video with Council Member Call about distracted driving.

On Friday, April 3, SRO Johnson and patrol deputies participated in an Easter Egg hunt at California Elementary School.
