Riverbank deputies spent the past week answering calls for service like family fights, strong-arm robbery, and grand theft.

On Saturday, May 28 at 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of credit card fraud at the Shell gas station.

Deputies observed Roy Insurriga, 30, riding a bicycle near the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Morrill Road on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. Insurriga was wanted for an attempted murder that occurred in Riverbank in April. A replica firearm was found in Insurriga’s possession.

At 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a family disturbance in the 2700 block of Stanislaus Street.

On Friday, May 27 at 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a family disturbance in the 5700 block of Holbrook Drive.

Deputies observed a subject walking on the tracks near Fourth Street and Sierra Street on Friday at 10:50 a.m. Deputies had knowledge the man was wanted for two warrants out of Riverbank. He was arrested and transported to jail.

Later that afternoon on Friday at 4:10 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a strong-arm robbery in the 2700 block of Stanislaus Street. The female victim was walking down the street. She was assaulted from behind by another female. The suspect took the victim’s purse and drove away. The investigation is ongoing.

At 5 p.m. on Friday, Riverbank deputies conducted a DUI checkpoint near the intersection of Patterson Road and Oakdale Road. A 56-year-old was arrested for DUI.

Deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 3700 block of Nevada Avenue on Friday at 5:30 p.m.

At 5:32 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a court order violation in the 5700 block of Cornerstone Drive.

On Friday night at 11:20 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a vandalism in the River View Garden Apartments.

On Thursday, May 26 at 4 p.m., deputies located Manuel Nunez, 39, and arrested him. Nunez was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm and over 300 Riverbank residents’ mail, ID cards, credit cards and passports. Nunez was a probationer at large with seven outstanding felony warrants.

Deputies responded to the reports of a shooting victim down in the Applebee’s parking lot on Thursday at 9:45 p.m. The responsible was arrested a short time later and the investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday, May 25 at 11 a.m., deputies responded to a call for service in the 3800 block of Stanislaus Street. Deputies contacted a 33-year-old, who was found to have multiple outstanding warrants. He was arrested for the warrants.

At 1:22 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of mail theft in the 6000 block of Creek Bend Drive. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies responded to a family disturbance in the 3400 block of Atchison Street on Wednesday at 4:50 p.m.

During the evening on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Patterson Road and Roselle Avenue.

On Tuesday, May 24 at 9 a.m., deputies responded to the report of lost property at the Dollar General.

On Monday, May 23 at 10:20 a.m., deputies responded to the report of found property in the 2500 block of Dobbins Lane.

At 5 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the report of a grand theft at the Kohls in Crossroads.
