Deputies with the Riverbank Police Services logged a busy week, responding to a number of calls for service including battery, indecent exposure, burglary, and theft.

On Monday, July 11 at 5:21 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 3700 block of Texas Avenue on a hit and run with property damage only. The investigation is ongoing.

On Saturday, July 9 at 12 p.m., deputies responded to the report of battery that occurred between two friends at Silva Park.

At 2:37 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a physical fight at Jacob Myers Park. Ontel reported a possible physical fight at the location. No witnesses or evidence were found upon arrival.

Deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Santa Fe Street on a woman who was exposing herself to children on Saturday at 6:26 p.m. Deputies contacted a 42-year-old woman, who was heavily intoxicated and had no shirt on, exposing her breasts to the public. She was arrested without incident.

On Friday, July 8 at 11 a.m., deputies observed a subject identified as Eliseo Zerate, 52, standing in front of a residence on Highway 108. Zerate was wanted for three felony and three misdemeanor Riverbank warrants. While talking with Zerate, deputies observed Alexander Chavez, 30, on the property, who was also wanted for two felony warrants from Modesto PD, one misdemeanor Riverbank warrant and one Stanislaus County SO warrant. They were arrested and transported to jail.

At 2:45 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 5700 block of Prince Norman Way.

Later that afternoon at 4:53 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of an identity theft in the 5700 block of Parkview Court.

On Friday night at 10 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a verbal fight at the Central Valley Post-Acute.

On Thursday, July 7 at 8 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Claribel Road.

On Thursday at 9:45 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Patterson Road and Estelle Avenue.

At 9:54 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a catalytic converter theft in the parking lot of the SaveMart.

Deputies responded to the report of a residential burglary in progress in the 6100 block of Roselle Avenue on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The subject ended up being a friend of the resident, picking up property.

At 1:51 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a person down, near the intersection of Sierra court and Callander Avenue. A subject was found needing medical aid.

During the evening on Thursday at 7:25 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a hit and run, property damage only, in the Home Depot parking lot.

At 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a shoplifting at the Home Depot.

On Wednesday, July 6 at 6:40 a.m., deputies responded to multiple callers advising a male trying to stop cars in the roadway and screaming at the Shell Gas Station. Deputies contacted a 39-year-old man and a subject identified as Michael Powers, 26, at Pioneer Park. The 39-year-old was arrested for being under the influence of a narcotic in public and Powers was arrested due to being an arson parolee at large. Both were booked at county jail.

On Wednesday at 12 p.m., deputies responded to the report of an incident on Roselle Avenue. A 49-year-old man was later located and arrested for child abuse and assault with a deadly weapon.

At 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a court order violation in the 2800 block of Morrill Road.

During the afternoon at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 3500 block of Riverside Road.

At 10 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a vandalism in the 2100 block of Laredo Lane.

Deputies stopped a vehicle swerving in the roadway near the intersection of Stanislaus Street and Seventh Street on Wednesday at 8:50 p.m. A check of the 65-year-old driver showed he had a BAC of .25 percent and he was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Tuesday, July 5 at 8:50 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a grand theft near the intersection of Westgate Drive and Oakdale Road.

At 11 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a commercial burglary at the Secure Care Self Storage on Patterson Road.

During the afternoon on Tuesday at 3 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a possible child abuse on Topeka Street.

Deputies responded to a second report of a commercial burglary at the Secure Care Self Storage on Patterson Road on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.
