SUNDAY, SEPT. 10
9:29 a.m. – Deputies responded to the 5500 block of Gable Court for a family fight. A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
11:44 a.m. – Responded to the 5900 block of Stretch for a report of a vehicle collision that happened the night prior. One party had left a note as required by law.
5:02 p.m. – Deputies observed a vehicle driving recklessly at Scout Court and Companion Lane. An enforcement stop was done and a 32-year-old man was contacted as the driver of the vehicle. He was given a citation and his vehicle was towed. Deputies then got a seizure warrant for the vehicle to hold it for 30 days.
6:12 p.m. – Assist provided to Oakdale Animal Control in the 2500 block of River Cove.
7:07 p.m. – Assistance provided to Patterson Police Services personnel with attempting to contact the registered owner of a semi-truck that had failed to yield for deputies.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 9
9:37 a.m. – Deputies responded to the 5900 block of Newbrook Circle for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Through investigation it was determined the suspect violated a restraining order and assaulted one victim with a knife. A warrant was issued for the 49-year-old suspect wanted in connection with the case.
12:27 p.m. – Vandalism report investigated in the 2700 block of San Juan Avenue.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 8
8:04 a.m. – Deputies investigated a vehicle collision at Patterson and Roselle. The involved parties did a name exchange.
11:10 a.m. – Restraining order violation complaint in the 3600 block of California. The report will be sent to the Stanislaus District Attorney’s Office.
1:13 p.m. – Deputies responded to Target for a theft that had just occurred. A subject identified as Gabriella Loredo, 18, was arrested for taking $1,100 worth of merchandise. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
2:47 p.m. – Vehicle collision report taken by deputies in the 6300 block of Roselle.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 7
12:14 p.m. – Deputies responded to the 6100 block of Claus for a vandalism report.
2:51 p.m. – Hit and run vehicle collision investigated by deputies in the 2200 block of Patterson.
10:50 p.m. – A subject was observed walking at Seventh and Atchinson. Deputies had prior knowledge the 53-year-old man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 6
8:39 a.m. – Deputies did a security check of a female that had not been responding to calls or knocking at the door in the 3200 block of Santa Fe. A female was located inside the residence deceased. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office authorized a funeral home to take possession of the decedent.
6:27 p.m. – Report of a confirmed death at a residence in the 2700 block of Morrill. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office authorized a funeral home to take possession of the decedent.
8:00 p.m. – Deputies responded to Patterson and Jackson for a vehicle collision. Through investigation a woman identified as Christina Linarez, 25, was arrested for DUI causing injuries. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 5
8:08 a.m. – Vehicle collision investigated by deputies in the 3100 block of Talbot.
11:12 a.m. – Investigation into a reported credit card fraud in the 5200 block of Squire Wells.
12:14 p.m. – Deputies investigated a vehicle collision in the 2100 block of Patterson.
1:15 p.m. – Attempt to contact a 24-year-old subject on an outstanding warrant. The subject came to the front door and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
3:56 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of cruelty to animals. A 43-year-old was arrested after the owner of the dogs signed a citizen complaint.
8:45 p.m. – Credit card fraud report in the 6000 block of Winners Circle.
10:22 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight at Stanislaus and Fourth Street. A 35-year-old subject was arrested in connection with the incident and was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
MONDAY, SEPT. 4
11:59 a.m. – Received a report of a subject walking down the street with a handgun at Fifth and Burney. Deputies were unable to locate any subjects matching the description.
Other Highlights
Traffic deputies did extra patrol around the schools for traffic violations. Eighteen people were cited during the two hours they were there.
Community Resources Deputy Buck and Detectives identified the responsible of the fire at Burneyville and Riverside after reviewing security footage. The responsible was located in town and confessed to being responsible for the fire. The subject was arrested for arson. This investigation is being conducted jointly with the Stanislaus Fire Investigative Unit.
