Riverbank Police Services Answer Calls For Assistance

Deputies with Riverbank Police Services have answered several calls for service in the past week and listed are some details of a few of those cases.

Deputies observed a 19-year-old in the 2700 block of Patterson Road on the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 2. He was on searchable probation and a probation compliance check was conducted. The suspect was found to have a firearm on his person and illegal drugs. He was arrested for possession of a firearm in public and the illegal drugs.

During Tuesday afternoon on Dec. 1, Deputies responded to a vehicle collision near Third Street and Patterson Road. The preliminary investigation showed one vehicle collided into the rear of a stopped vehicle. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Deputies investigated a vehicle collision on Monday, Nov. 30 around 5 p.m. near Patterson Road and Jackson Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed an eastbound vehicle rear ended a stopped vehicle in front of them. There were no injuries.

On Monday evening, deputies responded to the 6800 block of Third Street for a trespass. Two subjects, a 60-year-old and a 40-year-old, were arrested for trespassing after they illegally entered, occupied, and refused to leave a vacant apartment.
