The Riverbank community will be celebrating National Night Out 2018 on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the Community Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. where several emergency services and community organizations will be in attendance. They are scheduled to include Riverbank Police Services, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire, Riverbank Rotary, Stanislaus County Sheriff Mounted Units, Target, Oakdale Animal Control, Stanislaus County S.T.A.R.S., and Lana Clayton with State Farm.

There are many activities that are slated for the evening like pony rides, water balloon toss, and much more.

“It will be a chance for people in the community to meet and speak to some of the folks who help keep their community safe, as well as others who work in the community,” stated Riverbank Community Services Officer Melissa Hardy.

Neighbors and law enforcement across the nation celebrate this day building community and services partnerships along with camaraderie. The annual campaign, among many things, also helps to create a safe neighborhood and enhances relationships.
