The second of the monthly Market Place on Poplar events for 2023 was hosted in Oakdale on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Community United Methodist Church, 1480 Poplar. Scheduled the first Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the market place serves up a variety of booths, featuring everything from plants to artwork, key chains and magnets, vintage toys to rummage sale items. There is also food for purchase on site and vendor space is available for a $20 fee. The next marketplace will be Saturday, March 4; upcoming markets are also set for April 1 and May 6.
