Robert Alton, Crossroads Save Mart Manager; Pete Naranjo, Meat Department Manager; and Save Mart employees Rene Munoz Cruz and Lucy Nyquist recently joined together to make a special presentation. The group stopped by to present the volunteers at Riverbank Christian Food Sharing a check for $2759 collected during Save Mart’s campaign “Give Share Care”. During the months of November and December, Save Mart shoppers had the opportunity to donate to help provide meals for families in need of assistance. The total amount donated at the Crossroads store, $2759, was given to Riverbank Christian Food Sharing to continue to provide food to Riverbank residents and families. All donated funds received by the food bank are used to purchase food so this donation will help keep the shelves stocked and the freezer filled with good quality food that is primarily purchased from local merchants at discounted prices.

Riverbank Christian Food Sharing officials said they are grateful to Save Mart, its employees and all of the shoppers that provided this donation.
