The Save Mart Companies has announced the installation of Plexiglas shields at Save Mart, FoodMaxx and Lucky store registers throughout California and Northern Nevada. Plexiglas shields serve as an added safety measure that help provide a protective space between checkers and customers.

In addition to the installation of Plexiglas shields, stores have increased the frequency and intensity of surface cleaning in stores, especially the check stands and shopping carts, as well as surface cleaning of common areas.

“We are committed to ensuring a safe shopping experience for our customers and employees,” expressed Hal Levitt, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations.

The Save Mart Companies operates 205 stores throughout California and Northern Nevada under the banners of FoodMaxx, Lucky and Save Mart.
