School District Story Time Offered On YouTube
Facella
Riverbank Unified School District Superintendent Christine Facella is shown here reading ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ in a YouTube video.

Riverbank Unified School District (RUSD) has posted a Story Time link on their website to engage students at home to read. The stories are read by RUSD teachers and staff with a variety of stories.

Superintendent Christine Facella has read a few stories like “Wolf’s Coming!” and one of her favorites “Where The Wild Things Are.” Assistant Superintendent Dr. Richard Tapia has read some bilingual stories including “The Tooth Fairy Meets El Raton Perez” and “Tortillitas Para Mama.” The recordings are on their YouTube Channel and are posted directly on the school website at riverbank.k12.ca.us. There will be new stories along with new readers added to the site on a regular basis.

RUSD will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
