Search effort underway to return veteran’s flag

A flag, being stored in a protective case, was left behind in an Oakdale home and now there is an effort underway to return it to the family of veteran, Harold Raymond Payton, who passed away more than 25 years ago. Photo Contributed
According to LaMott, she found the flag about four years ago, when she moved into a house on River Avenue in Oakdale.
