It’s that time of year again and members of the local Sierra 4-H are inviting all in the community to attend the club’s annual Valentine’s Box Social Dessert Auction. This popular event is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 9 at the IMDES Hall, 5748 Albers Road, Oakdale, and begins at 6:30 p.m.

This is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

“The money we raise helps all of the kids out all year with the different projects we have as a club,” said Bronc Balaam, one of the Sierra 4-H club reporters. “All of the kids work hard to create a cool dessert to show off and sell to help raise money. We would love to show you what we can create with a dessert.”

Club members added that this is a chance for those attending and bidding to “enjoy a cheat night” with a sweet treat.
