Skateboarders of all ages are invited to grab their boards and costumes for the third annual Helloween SK-8 Contest, hosted by the 100% Skateboarder SK-8 Club at the Oakdale Skatepark on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The event will feature live music, a variety of competitions, and Halloween-themed fun for the community. According to the event flyer, activities include “bowls and street,” a “Big Bowl Deathmatch,” a “Street Best 3 Trick Combo,” and the “Doubleset Massacre.” Competitions begin at 5 p.m. and continue until “lights out” at 7 p.m.
Described as an all-ages event, the Helloween SK-8 Contest promises “candy for all ghouls and gals,” along with prizes and a costume party.
The event is free to attend and open to spectators and participants alike, creating a festive atmosphere for the area’s skateboarding community and families looking for a fun Halloween outing.
