Soroptimists Planning Annual ‘Motor Madness’ Fundraiser

Soroptimist International of Oakdale will host its annual Motor Madness fundraiser on Saturday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m., at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale. Guests will be entertained by Rob Ely, who will emcee and perform popular country songs.

Guests are encouraged to dress in country attire for the “Jeans and Jewels” theme. The event includes hearty appetizers, wine, beer, soft drinks, and dessert. Tickets are $100 each and admits two adults (must be 21 years or older) to the event and constitutes one entry for the many door prize drawings. The highlight of the evening will be the drawing for the Grand Door Prize of a new motorcycle from Mitchell’s Modesto Harley Davidson (up to $14,000 value) or $10,000 cash as well as opportunities for other great prizes. Soroptimist International of Oakdale is part of a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
