One early evening last week saw this flock of geese circling over the parking lot at Crossroads Shopping Center, preparing to land near where the canal crosses Morrill Road, near Jackson Avenue. They were likely joining the group of ducks that live on the canal, pausing on their seasonal migratory path southward.
