Huff Construction, the Modesto-based construction company hired to build Saint Mary’s Family Life Center, recently revealed the finished Oakdale project.

According to Fernando Arteaga, Marketing Manager for Huff Construction, the 14,642-square-foot project is a Huff Metal building, which was pre-engineered to create a completely open design to maximize space. Some features of the Saint Mary’s Family Life Center include a great hall, a youth room, an audio/visual room, a large storage room with overhead doors, and a full commercial kitchen with a walk-in cooler and freezer.

Construction started on the privately-funded project for the Catholic Church in Oakdale in April of 2020.

Arteaga shared, Huff Construction was founded by Duane Huff in 1971, eager to pursue a career in construction and determined to build a great company. It was Huff’s dedication to quality and commitment to hard work that quickly built Huff Construction’s reputation for unsurpassed quality and integrity.

Today, Huff is retired and a resident of the Oakdale community as the company is now led by Gary Huff (CEO) and Brad Ardis (President).

Saint Mary’s Family Life Center is among several Oakdale projects completed by Huff Construction.

Other projects include Mid Valley Agriculture, Ardis Farming, Haeger Manufacturing, VA Rodden, Inc., Starbucks, and the tenant improvements and expansion of the Save Mart Supermarket.

Recently completed projects in the Central Valley include the construction of the new “flagship” Save Mart Supermarket, Funsport Bikes, Dust Bowl Brewery, Mark Gallo Health & Fitness Center, and the Avena Bella Affordable Housing Apartments.

“At Huff Construction, we are first and foremost builders,” said Arteaga. “The ways in which we deliver our projects are diverse and customizable to meet the needs of our varied customer base. At our core, we are a general contractor committed to building commercial projects of outstanding quality and value.”
