A special meeting of the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District Board of Directors is scheduled for Thursday, April 18. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Station 26 Meeting Room at 3318 Topeka St., Riverbank.

After the call to order, roll call, Pledge of Allegiance and approval of the agenda, the floor will be opened for public comment. That can include topics not on the agenda, however the board cannot take any action on non-agendized items.

There are two discussion items listed on the special meeting agenda; the first is to discuss the City of Riverbank’s approval of the Crossroads West Project and provide staff direction with potential action. The second item is to discuss the current Fire Services Agreement with Oakdale City and Oakdale Fire Protection District with options available to the SCFPD.

Also due is a closed session with one potential case of litigation to be discussed. Following the closed session the board is due to report out and return to open session, with discussion and potential action regarding the approval of the Crossroads West Project.

The next regularly scheduled meeting for the board is slated for Thursday, May 9 at Station 26.

The district board includes President Susan Zanker, Vice President Dave Woods and Directors Michelle Guzman, Steve Green and Greg Bernardi.
