Stanislaus County Departments Implement Social Distancing
county

Following the advice of health experts, Stanislaus County has taken steps to implement social distancing measures in a deliberate effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Essential services will remain operational and accessible by phone and email.

All County closures including Tenth Street place in Modesto will be in effect at least through April 5 allowing limited to no public access. However, it is the county’s goal to maintain essential services to the public. County staff will continue to be available during this challenging time. Services may be accessed online at www.stancounty.com.

Here are a few of the impacted offices and agencies and how residents can still get needed services.

Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors will continue providing administrative and legislative responsibilities to county residents. Public meetings will be livestreamed online only. Since there will be no public attendance, the County will provide alternative methods to provide comments (by email or by phone) for all such meetings.

Staff is still working and available via phone and email; call 209-525-4494.
