Toward the end of the day last Thursday, Sept. 18, the remnants of Tropical Storm Mario could be seen approaching Riverbank from the southwest. Originating off the coast of Baja, California, Mario began breaking up as it neared Southern California. Here in Central and Northern California, some areas experienced just bit of rain over the weekend as the storm residue continued north. Fall officially arrived on Monday, Sept. 22.
