What does one do on a holiday Saturday when temperatures climb past 90 degrees? You get a friend and stake out a spot on a busy street corner, selling cool lemonade to neighbors and passersby alike. These two young ladies, Ava Mauchley, left, and Leila Bailey, did just that on the Fourth of July. The girls said it’s pretty much a regular gig, with most Saturdays finding them at their post, on the corner of Prospectors Parkway and Crawford Road in the Crossroads. And the pair says they’ve been doing pretty well at it so far this summer.
