Some impacts to local traffic are due this week in the City of Action.

Road work will continue through Friday, July 15 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with construction work in the 2900 block of Ward Avenue. There will be traffic control with flaggers for the single lane closure.

Also, as a result of the Kids Health & Safety Annual Fun Fair on Wednesday, July 13 from 3 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Third Street will be closed between Topeka Street and Santa Fe Street. No parking signs will be posted. Traffic control devices will be in place.

A project that began in mid-June will be continuing through Wednesday, Aug. 3 including weekends; Santa Fe Street will be closed to thru traffic due to construction from Fifth Street to Seventh Street. Detour signs will be in place.
