Warrant Arrests, Public Intoxication Among Local Cases

During the early morning hours on Monday, Aug. 30, Riverbank Police Services deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the 5200 block of Equine Court. Following an investigation, a 42-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the disturbance.

On the evening of Sunday, Aug. 29, deputies were dispatched to the Togo’s on the report of an adult who appeared confused, disoriented, and unable to care for himself. Deputies were unable to locate any family members and the subject was taken into protective custody in order to provide assistance.

During the morning on Saturday, Aug. 28, deputies contacted a 40-year-old man near Eighth and Atchison streets for three outstanding warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to the 5900 block of Chancellor Way on a disturbance during the evening on Saturday. A 20-year-old man was at the residence intoxicated and causing a disturbance. He was arrested for public intoxication.

Near midnight on Thursday, Aug. 26, deputies investigated a non-injury hit and run collision near Oakdale and Patterson roads. The responsible was tracked down to the Riverbank Sports Complex. Deputies determined the driver, a 43-year-old man, was intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

During the early morning hours on Wednesday, Aug. 25, deputies stopped a vehicle for vehicle code violations near Third and Stanislaus streets. The driver, a 32-year-old man, was cited after deputies learned he had a misdemeanor warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Ross Avenue on the report of a female brandishing a knife during an argument on Wednesday afternoon. Deputies located and arrested a 30-year-old woman, charging her with brandishing a weapon after the victim identified her as the responsible.
