The Riverbank Federated Women’s Club will resume its meetings with a Salad Social next week.
The first meeting of the new season will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., at the Riverbank Scout Hall, 3017 High St.
As they are beginning their new season, they invite anyone who wants to know more about the group to join them for the social next Tuesday and learn more about the club and what the members do for the community. Those interested can contact the club’s membership chair, Jeanine Tucker at 209-863-9789 or e-mail at email@example.com.
The Riverbank Women’s Club provides funding for educational activities and scholarships for Riverbank area students.
The group has been serving the area for more than 50 years, and meets from fall through spring, taking the summer off. The local group is affiliated with others throughout the state. Their purpose is to carry out charitable service programs, providing leadership opportunities, and enriching the lives of members through personal growth.
