In just a short period of time the Riverbank Barracudas are putting together a solid showing thus far during the summer swimming season, giving the Escalon Orcas and the Delhi Sailfish just about all they can handle.

The summer league programs met for the second time in the young season when the Orcas hosted the league's most recent tri-meet. All three programs met up at the Escalon Community pool on Friday, July 18, giving the Barracudas their second shot at displaying a team load of talent.

After opening up the season with a thrilling victory over the two programs, now the Barracudas are showing everyone involved how determined they are at making a run at the top.

"I really wish I would have run a time trial with all of the kids at the beginning of the season," said first-year coach Tristin Long. "Now they are going to be working off their times from the first meet. So far we haven't seen anything bad, only improvements out of the kids."
