Standout Riverbank High basketball players weren't the only ones to be honored at recent Trans-Valley All League meetings.
Girls basketball coach Tim Carnes and boys basketball coach Jeff Jennings were both selected as the TVL coaches of the year after terrific seasons that sent both programs deep into the postseason.
Riverbank's Olivia Luu also nabbed 64 voting points for VOL MVP status, just one-point shy of Modesto Christian's Valarie Moore, who ultimately captured the honor. Olivia and her sister Janelle both ended with first team All TVL honors, while Tiffany Edgar was named to the TVL honorable mention team.
Rolaun Dunham captured recognition as a co-most outstanding player for TVL boys while Alex Reynaga and Kenny Veliz were both selected to first team status. Antony Navarette and Robert Martinez were honorable mentions.
