The Riverbank Bruins track and field program showed little to no mercy during their Trans-Valley League dual-meet against the Modesto Christian Crusaders in recent league action.
Both boys and girls programs rolled over the Crusaders with relative ease, with the boys wining 101-30 and the girls squad winning 100-34.
Riverbank saw its usual athletes atop the leader board, with German Fernandez pacing the squad with victories in the 1600, 800 and 3200-meter races all with ease. Erikka Garza earned victories in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.6, while teammate Karina Duarte took down the 1600-meter event with a time of 6:13. Tayler Anderson handled business in the 3200-meter event, winning the race in 13 minutes, 32 seconds. Marissa Miglin won the 800-meter race (2:38) and finished first in the pole vault with a leap of 7-0.
