On the soccer field, the boys varsity team set a winning streak in motion for the week, traveling to post a 4-2 win over Johansen, hosting a 4-1 win over Calaveras before notching a 4-1 win over Sierra and a 3-2 win against Summerville in the Sierra Tournament in Manteca over the weekend. The Bruin kickers are next scheduled to host the Calaveras Redskins on Friday, Sept. 19 and again on Friday, Sept. 26.

Meanwhile, members of the Bruin Cross Country team are to travel to the Woodbridge Classic in Irvine on Sept. 18-20 after having a solid showing in the first Trans-Valley League meet of the season and showing once again, they are the team to beat for the TVL title.

The Lady Bruin Golf Team plays its home matches at Escalon Golf Course. They traveled to Gustine on Sept. 11, then were to go to Mountain House on Tuesday, Sept. 16, before hosting Hughson at the Escalon course on Thursday, Sept. 18.
