Lifelong Riverbank resident and Central Catholic High senior, Katelyn Ketchum, has already secured her future with a scholarship to play soccer with Chico State University.
But she's far from finished with her prep career.
Ketchum led the Raiders to the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs on Tuesday, a position the team nabbed after a torrid run through the Western Athletic Conference.
It's the same conference that saw Ketchum snare a league high in goals scored in her fourth consecutive season as a varsity starter.
This year, with Ketchum already on the cusp of graduation and a 4.0 grade-point-average, she culminated her career with All WAC MVP honors at a recent conference meeting.
Ketchum and the Raiders are shooting for their third trip to the Sac-Joaquin Section championship game in four years.
