The Riverbank High School cheer squad wrapped up its 2015-16 season with a halftime performance at the home varsity basketball game against Hughson on Tuesday night, Feb. 16.

All members of the squad performed to start with, but the routine ended with just the seniors at center court, giving a heartfelt final routine in Bruin attire.

Feb. 16 was the final home game and last game of the regular season for the Bruins and the last time in their high school careers the seniors in the squad would perform in front of a home crowd.

Cheerleading is a fall (football) and winter (basketball) activity at RHS.

A cheer squad isn’t feasible for spring sports at the high school, where there are two baseball teams, a massive co-ed track and field unit, co-ed tennis teams, two girls soccer teams, a girls softball team and a boys golf team, all with different schedules to play.
