The high school sports schedule is winding down for Bruin athletes as graduation day and the final bell of the year nears. Baseball and softball teams play their final home games this week.

Baseball

The varsity baseball game against Ripon, originally scheduled for Friday last week, was moved up to Thursday so as to not conflict with the senior trip to Disneyland. The day before, they played at Ripon. Riverbank varsity lost both games, 5-1 and 5-0. The JV Bruins lost 10-0 and 11-2.

The varsity squad finished their home season yesterday, May 9 against Modesto Christian High School, with the Senior Day observance, introducing the graduating seniors and their families prior to the last home game of their high school careers. Riverbank travels to Modesto Christian on Wednesday, May 10 to finish the campaign.

Softball

The Lady Bruins lost at Ripon High School last Tuesday, 14-4, and took a shutout loss at Hughson last Thursday, 13-0. They, too, were scheduled to host their final home game on Tuesday, May 9 against Modesto Christian, also Senior Day. The contest was the final one for the softball squad.
