Cardozo Middle School’s eighth grade boys basketball team hosted Dan Savage Middle School on Tuesday, Feb. 9. And the visitors took the game with them when they left town.

Down 12-6 after the first quarter, the Eagles were unable to come back, but were behind just 19-13 at the half.

No progress was made in the third frame, with the score then ending at 36-13 and the visitors coasted to the 48-21 win.

The Eagles were set to welcome Ustach Middle School yesterday, Feb. 16, then the Eagles end their regular season hosting Somerset today, Wednesday at 3:45, in the Community Gymnasium. A three-day tournament Feb. 23-25 winds up middle school basketball for the year.
