The Cardozo Middle School Eagles dropped a pair of home basketball games last week as the 2016 campaign continues.

The sixth/seventh grade team fought hard but just couldn’t get on track, and fell 62-27, to the visiting Wildcats of Salida.

The eighth grade Eagles fared just a little better, losing 50-40, against their Salida counterparts.

Up next for CMS was a visit from Modesto Christian, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 2, then a trip to El Portal on Thursday, Feb. 4.
