Horse

The CSHA (California State Horsemen’s Association) Region 4 Gymkhana Program is open to anyone who lives in the Central Valley. Riders must be a member of CSHA either a direct member or a member of an affiliated club.

The CSHA Gymkhana program is by time divisions, so riders compete with riders and mounts of like ability providing more equal level of competition. Riders can compete at the speed they feel most comfortable and beginners have the opportunity to place at the shows and advance as their skill increases.

The CSHA Region 4 is one of 18 regions in the state that makes up the Association and serves Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Merced, Mono, Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa and Tuolumne counties.

Events are staged at a variety of locations, including Waterford Horseman’s Club, Hearts Desire in Manteca and Diamond Bar in Ceres.

Region 4 is looking for new riders. A riders meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m., with the gathering set at Round Table Pizza, 253 Spreckels Ave., Manteca.

All interested are welcome to join the meeting, listen to the details and then decide if they want to get involved in the program.
