Modesto Sunrise Rotary will host its 25th annual Stanislaus County High School “All Star” baseball game featuring the best juniors and seniors, high school players, from local teams.

The game will be played this Saturday, June 14 at John Thurman Field in Modesto, with a game time of 7:05 p.m.

Proceeds from this event will be donated back to each high school’s baseball program. Tickets will be available at the gate or from participating high schools.

The East team includes Oakdale players, while Riverbank is represented on the West team.

Tristan Rodgers, a senior pitcher and Sam Gong, senior pitcher and first baseman, are the Bruins named to the West squad. Other schools on the West are Big Valley, Davis, Downey, Johansen, Modesto, Orestimba, Patterson, Pitman, Turlock Christian and Turlock.

For Oakdale, Mustang seniors Bryce Dyrda, a pitcher and designated hitter, and Colt Parshall, second base, will suit up for the East.

Other East teams are Beyer, Central Catholic, Central Valley, Ceres, Denair, Enochs, Gregori, Hughson, Modesto Christian and Waterford.

Gates open at 5 p.m.

Prizes will be given away between innings and there will also be awards and recognition for players after the game.
