Youth Basketball Clinics, Games At Riverbank High


Riverbank High School will once again be the host site for youth league basketball, slated on Saturdays starting Jan. 9.

Sign-ups for the youth hoops league is scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fauria Gym on the RHS campus. This is not a clinic but a sign-up day. Cost to participate is $55 and the league will include two clinic days and four competitive games, for a total of six weeks.

The clinics will take place at Riverbank High School for all grade levels.

The clinics begin on Saturday Jan. 9, 2016 and run again on Saturday, Jan. 16. Each child will receive a basketball and a T-shirt. Each child will participate in two clinics and four games.

Clinic times for first and second graders will be 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m.; third and fourth graders will meet for their clinic from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Fifth and sixth graders, seventh and eighth graders will meet from 11:15 a.m. to noon, with the clinics separate for the two grade level groups but running simultaneously.

All games will be held at Riverbank High School between 9 a.m. and noon on the Saturdays following the two clinics. The youth basketball program is open to any student in first through eighth grades.
