Organizers at the Riverbank Youth Baseball/Softball Association have changed the location of one of the two dates remaining in this season’s sign-up sessions.

Coming up on Friday, Jan. 10, the sign-ups have been moved to Pizza Plus, where they are scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., just as they had been in December. On Saturday, Jan. 11, however, the last day to register for the 2020 season, the event will return to the Castleberg Park. That sign-up opportunity will be from noon to 3 p.m.

The next important date is Saturday, Feb. 8, when evaluations, then player drafts, begin at 11:45 a.m., and will occur all afternoon.

Opening Day Parade and Picture Day will be on March 14, with teams lining up at the Community Center and marching to the park, if weather permits. Last year Opening Day got rained out.

There’s a Riverbank Night planned at the Modesto Nuts game on May 8 and Closing Ceremonies will be on May 16.
