Due to continuing inclement weather, the Saturday, March 11  official kickoff of the 2023 season for players in the Riverbank Youth Baseball Softball Association has been canceled.

The day was to begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with the traditional parade, from the California Avenue field down Eighth Street to Castleberg Park, on the north field, but officials announced the cancelation on Friday.

The region remained under a flood advisory, with more rain forecast through the weekend and another system arriving early next week.
